One Life #813
In all the ways that matter, we are the same.
Foxes on fur farms endure a life of misery and suffering. They are confined to small, cramped cages without space to move around in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions, leading to a host of health problems and diseases. The psychological stress of captivity can also cause abnormal behaviour such as self-mutilation and aggression. The killing methods used to harvest their fur are inhumane and excruciating, including gassing and electrocution. In some instances, foxes are even skinned alive as it is believed to increase the value of their fur due to the adrenaline rush caused by the pain. Since we no longer need fur to survive, it’s time to end this outdated and barbaric industry.
